Hello I’m Elisha Wildblood!

I’m a Mother of 3  //  a Teacher //  a Certified Holistic Health + Nutrition Coach for families //   CTC Therapist ( trained in NLP, EFT, Level 2 Reiki and Meditation) and the passionate force behind    NOURISH~NURTURE~SHINE

I have a deep seated desire to create the most vibrant and healthy life possible for myself and my loved ones and every beautiful soul that decides to join me on this healthy life adventure.

++ My Husband and I have spent the past 6 years travelling the world with our little tribe.

++ In the past 6 years we have lived in 4 different countries and explored on our travels more than 15.

After teaching young children for over 10 years…

++   I became a mother  for the first time in Sydney {home for me} in 2007 when I gave birth to my daughter.

++  I became a mother for the second time in London {home for my husband} in 2010 when I gave birth to my son.

++  I became a mother  for the third time in Hong Kong when I gave birth to my second son.

++ When my smallest treasure was 3 months old we moved to Singapore, where we currently live amongst the swaying palm trees and the steamy, tropical heat.

Each time we have moved and  joyously welcomed a new family member,  our world has gone into a {beautiful crazy} state of chaos… and through each of these cycles I have been reminded of how important it is to take care of our physical health and emotional wellbeing.

I have also grown increasingly passionate about paving out a healthy lifestyle for my children. When I first set eyes on each of my precious babies, I knew that I would make it my lifelong mission to nourish them in every way possible. I want them to flourish and grow with strength and energy. I want to support their developing bodies and minds and also their life habits. I want them to enjoy the gift of feeling well and beautiful and vibrant. I have made it my mission to give them (as well as myself) that gift.

With the birth of each beautiful babe, I have also gained a growing  appreciation of the important role a mother plays in the dynamics of family life and the importance of caring for and nurturing yourself  { wonder woman that you are}… this is so often overlooked in society today.

After deciding I wasn’t going to return to the classroom, despite feeling very passionate about my work with children and families, I decided to channel my passion into another area…

health, nutrition & wellbeing

I enrolled to study Holistic Nutrition and have embraced every aspect with a fire in my belly like never before.

I’ve totally fallen head over heels in love with the idea that we can transform our lifestyle, food,  thoughts and habits to rid ourself of old symptoms and instead be the most vibrant and beautiful version of ourself, both inside and out.

We can change our situation, our daily grind, our pain and our suffering and take control by applying  some

basic fundamental principles. We can take control of our health and well being and live a life overflowing

with  energy, zest, excitement and love.

I’m learning every single day, keeping an open mind  and constantly evolving as I go. I’ve defintely learned

the importance of intuition and listening to your own unique body rather than following rules that are set in stone

Can’t wait to share what I have learned with you!

While I have been interested in health and wellbeing for as long as i can remember – making it my reality was a very different story.

As a child I grew up thinking crippling stomach cramps were just a part of life.

I assumed having allergies so severe that I could barely see out of my watery, itchy red eyes was just my bad luck.

I suffered sensitive skin, constant bloating , the feeling my ears/nose/throat passage was burning and I often felt tired and lethargic.

I suffered asthma and recurrent bronchitis, sinus infections , my mood was variable and when it dipped low, it really delved into darkness.

At 22 I suffered a temporary  form of the skin condition psoiaris all over my body which rocked my already fragile self confidence. After a few disastrous months of using cortisone cream all over my precious and ultra-sensitive skin, it finally cleared up after consulting an Ayuvedic doctor who took a very different and more nourishing and holistic approach.

At the age of 24 I was diagnosed with Poly-cystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and {not so gently} told by my GP that there was nothing I could do about it. She also dropped the bomb that it would most likely affect my fertility, which was heartbreaking for a single 24 year old who had no intention of having children anytime soon, but with a definite desire to one day be a mum! I was just about to go off traveling the world and it all seemed like too much hard work, so my party days & nights  proved a (destructive) distraction. I partied my way through my 20’s and although I had a blast & have some fabulous memories, I always seemed to take it one step too far and as a result suffered the consequences physically and emotionally.

I  got used to feeling so terrible that I didn’t realise I could actually do something about it. My interest in health and wellness meant I often explored bookstores, libraries and internet for information, but nothing really stuck. I was really drawn to alternative medicine but I just couldn’t quite make the lifestyle changes that I needed to. I was too busy feeling awful.

I dieted in many different ways believing that was my way of being healthy,  but these highly restrictive and un-sustainable plans always ended with a bang and a huge dent in my physical health and emotional wellbeing.

The love of all things wholesome and healthy was still alive in there but I was for the most part simply ignoring it!

Lets just say I was moving towards a greater awareness but still had a very long way to go!

The symptoms above were part of my every day existence … they were just a part of me … or so I thought … until some changes came about in my life …

By the time I reached my  late 20’s  my awareness started to grow at a more rapid rate …

I was gaining momentum in my journey towards living a healthy life and the biggest turning point came for me when …

I found myself with the man I wanted to spend my life with and the burning desire to start a family. The very real prospect of not being able to scared me into action.

I made changes to my diet and lifestyle. I committed. I had acupuncture and saw a naturapath. I became very aware of what I was eating (this also extends to a complete overhaul of the products I choose and use on our bodies and in our home).

I was so incredibly fortunate to fall pregnant. {I know not everyone’s story ends up that way & my heart breaks for those who are affected by this}

Fast forward 6.5 years and three healthy, happy, babies later , I can say I am truly passionate about the importance of nourishing our precious bodies with goodness. Our bodies are so amazing and we need to respect them and honor them.
